Prof. Dr. Bernhard J. Steinhoff has been the Medical Director of the Epilepsy Centre Kork since 2002. He is a professor for Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Freiburg, Germany. He is a board certified epileptologist and neurologist.Dr. Steinhoff was named one of the top 5 lecturers by the German Neurological Society and given the Alfred-Hauptmann Prize in 2015. He is a member of the German Society of Clinical Neurophysiology and the German Section of the International League Against Epilepsy and was also Past President of the Society of Presurgical Diagnostics and Surgical Epilepsy Therapy for the International League Against Epilepsy. In addition, Dr. Steinhoff has published more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
